Why did you choose communication?
To sharpen my communication skills and to communicate more competently and effectively with others.

Best memory in the Department?
Mr. Gardner's public speaking class.

Advice for incoming communication students?
Do not think you have it all figured out, but humbly ask others for advice.

Best advice you’ve received from a professor?
No question is a stupid question.

Favorite class?
Small Group Communication.

If you were singing karaoke, what song would you pick to sing?
“Joyful” by Dante Bowe. My mom and I love to sing and dance to this song and it brings me so much joy to sing!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
This is a tough question! It would probably be grilled chicken with broccoli and brown rice with an apple.

What’s the most interesting thing that you’ve read, watched, or listened to lately?
I don't read often, but I started reading a book called "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry". The author describes hurry, and how hurry is one of the main distractions and hindrances to growth. If we are in a hurry, we will always be fixed on the next thing, possibly missing the opportunity and lesson that lies in front of our eyes.

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with that extra time?
I'd spend time with my friends and the church community!
