Billing Dates and Payment Options

Bills are generated on or about the first of the month, due the 15th of the month.

Email notifications are sent to students and authorized payers when bills are availableon eServices.  Students can add authorized payers through eServices.

The Fall billing statement will be generated the first week of July and will be due August 15th.

The Spring billing statement will be generated the first week of December and will be due January 15th. 

The Summer billing statement will be generated the first week of May and will be due May 15th.

    RIT does not accept credit card payments for payment on student's accounts. However, credit cards can be used to pay online through Nelnet Business Solutions. Students can access the Nelnet system directly from eServices to pay via Visa, Discover or MasterCard. If you use a credit card to pay your bill, you will be charged a 2.7% service fee by the vendor.


There is a $20.00 fee for any check returned to us by our depositing bank.


College Savings Plan

Many families across the country are finding that using a college savings plan to pay for college makes more sense than ever.  All 50 states now offer college savings plans, sometimes referred to as a 529 plan.

International Funds Wire Transfer (from non-US banks)

RIT offers Flywire to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students. With Flywire, you are offered reduced foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save compared to traditional banks.  Excess funds from wire transfers will be returned to the original wire account or left on the student account to be applied to future charges.
